about

Written in Scarborough around 1999 this song eluded arrangement until producer Mark Beeston came up with this structure inspired by some of Beck's work with a full horns arrangement. Daryl agreed Beck was a great inspiration, but was looking for another song to weave in his love of Indian music, to flavour some of the Beatlesque inferences and pay tribute to the rhythm sections that accompanied Hendrix and bands such as The Cream. Daryl had invited Mat Anderson to play improvisations in addition to the horn parts written by Mark along with inviting Dave Sturt who generously provided the fretless bass.
